Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Is it permissible for a woman to shave or trim her eyebrows, if they resemble men\u2019s eyebrows, as her eyebrows are very thick and untidy?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In general, it is prohibited to trim or shape the eyebrows as mentioned in the Hadith that such women are cursed \u201cthat the Prophet (\ufdfa) cursed the women who practice tattooing and those who seek to be tattooed, the women who remove hair from their faces seeking beautification by changing the creation of Allah<\/u>\u201d[1]<\/a>., however, it will be permissible to trim the excess hair if they are very thick which resemble men or are untidy.<\/span><\/p>\n
