Can I get a layer cut hairstyle? Done in this hair is shorter and sometimes longer. Are these hairstyles halal?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Answer:<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\n

In shariah, women are not allowed to cut their hair or shave their heads.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Consider the following hadith: <\/span>It was narrated from ‘Ali: <\/span>“The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade women to shave <\/span>their heads.” (1)<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Lengthened hair is considered a sign of beauty for women.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

It is against the shariah to cut the hair for women and thus even in accordance with a husband’s wishes, she may not cut her hair. (2)<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Thus, in response to your query, it is impermissible for a woman to cut her hair in layers.<\/span><\/p>\n
