I wanted some advice and help with an ongoing conflict between trustees who are blocking the progress of a masjid in Leicester. I am a trustee of this masjid but we are having difficulties with certain members as they are not allowing the work to proceed and continuously come in the way of any progress. We are a total of 5 trustees. I would like to discuss this in more detail and would like someone to assist if possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Allah S.W.T said in the Quran;<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is crueller than the one who prevents the mosques of Allah from His name being recited therein, and strives for their destruction? It was not for such men to enter them except in awe. For them, there is disgrace in this world, and for them, there is a mighty punishment in the other world. Surah Baqarah verse 114<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We advise you to get the local Imams\/ scholars involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Preferably reputable scholars that all five of you are in agreement with and accept.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Keep in mind that Allah S.W.T. has entrusted you all with something for the community and each one of you will be asked regarding the fulfilment of this trust in the hereafter.<\/span><\/p>\n
