 <\/p>\n

I have a question if I decline my husband for intimate relations after he was cruel, is it haram for me? And I avoid him because of fear to communicate like a wife sleeping next to him? Is it haram for me?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger (\ufdfa) said, “If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning.”1<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This warning applies as long as a woman does not have an excuse valid in shariah.2<\/sup><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Reasons such as the wife being sick, being emotionally drained, or the wife fearing physical harm are valid reasons for which she may deny her husband\u2019s call to bed.<\/span><\/p>\n
