Allah(\u0639\u0632 \u0648 \u062c\u0644) says:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cO you who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true.\u201d. (Surah Tawbah, Verse 119).<\/span><\/p>\n

Avoid falsehood, for falsehood leads to wickedness, and wickedness to hell; and if a man continues to speak falsehood and makes falsehood his object, he will be recorded in Allah\u2019s presence as a great liar. And adhere to truth, for the truth leads to good deeds, and good deeds lead to paradise. If a man continues to speak the truth and makes truth his object, he will be recorded in Allah\u2019s presence as eminently truthful. 2<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

Likewise, Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Masud ( \u0631\u0636\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647 ) stated:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u0644\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0635\u0652\u0644\u064f\u062d\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0643\u064e\u0630\u0650\u0628\u064f \u0641\u0650\u064a \u062c\u0650\u062f\u0651\u064d \u0648\u0644\u0627 \u0647\u064e\u0632\u0652\u0644\u064d\u060c \u0648\u0644\u0627 \u0623\u0646\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u0639\u0650\u062f\u064e \u0623\u062d\u064e\u062f\u064f\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u0644\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0634\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0626\u064b\u0627 \u062b\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u064f\u0646\u0652\u062c\u0650\u0632\u064f \u0644\u064e\u0647\u064f<\/span><\/p>\n

“Lying is not correct, neither in seriousness nor in jest. None of you should promise his child something and then not give it to him.”3<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Joking is permissible as long as it is not regular, it does not contain any lies in it, it does not dishearten anyone, and there is no exaggeration in it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perseverance and persistence in it are reprehensible and inexcusable, and it is a cause of deathly laughter for the heart, and in some circumstances, it causes grudges. 4<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hence, in the aforementioned case, it is impermissible to lie even with the intention of joking.<\/span><\/p>\n
