Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If someone, in anger, or frustration, or by slip of tongue, or other such means, may say a statement like this, “What is this man? Why do they have to make f**king Islam this difficult!\u201d does this make one a k\u0101fir?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I’m impure (I have a lot of issues where I thought I committed shirk, so I did not perform ghusl for long) and I see a person who is so clean, and then I come home and get inspired by that person, correct the beliefs, say shahadah, and then perform ghusl, with the intention of being pure, also to pray. I used to see different Muslims, they would be pure, giving such good vibes, (and I would hate myself not being pure), so I came home, performed ghusl<\/em> so that I can be pure like them too, and also because I can now pray easily, and become better on the path of Islam (but my first ever thing was because I wanted to be pure because I hated myself being impure among people who are pure), will my ghusl<\/em> and shah\u0101dah<\/em> be valid?<\/span><\/p>\n

The statement, \u201cWhy do they have to make f**king Islam this difficult!\u201d is definitely disrespectful, vulgar and inappropriate. However, it does not take one out of the fold of Islam when said due to one finding Islamic practices difficult, challenging or cumbersome. However, if the statement was said with the belief to reject, deny or belittle the practices of Islam, then this will constitute kufr<\/em> (disbelief). – (See: Al-Ta\u2019l\u012bq\u0101t Al-Aq\u012bdah Al-\u1e6ca\u1e25\u0101w\u012byyah, Page 144, D\u0101r Al-\u2018\u0100\u1e63imah1<\/sup>, Al-Qaw\u0101id Al-Fiqh\u012byyah, Page 25, D\u0101r Al-Tirmidh\u012b2<\/sup>)<\/span><\/p>\n

In the described situation, your ghusl<\/em> is valid. After repenting, once the far\u0101i<\/em>\u1e0d<\/em> (mandatory acts) of ghusl<\/em> (ritual bath) are completed, the ghusl<\/em> is valid and one will be deemed clean and pure. The 3 far\u0101i<\/em>\u1e0d<\/em> in the \u1e24anaf\u012b school are, gargling to rinse the mouth, cleaning the nose up to the soft bone, and finally washing one\u2019s entire external body to the extent that not even a single hair is left dry. \u2013 (See: Rad Al-Mu\u1e25t\u0101r, Vol 1, Page 151, D\u0101r Al-Fikr3<\/sup>) –<\/span><\/p>\n

Sufy\u0101n bin \u2018Abdull\u0101h Thaqaf\u012b said, \u201cI said: \u2018O Messenger of All\u0101h, tell me of something that I can adhere to.\u2019 He replied, \u2018Say, \u201cAll\u0101h is my Lord,\u201d then adhere steadfastly to Islam.\u2019 He said, \u2018O Messenger of All\u0101h, what is the thing that you fear most for me?\u2019 The Messenger of All\u0101h took hold of his own tongue, then said, \u2018This.\u2019\u201d \u2013 (Ibn M\u0101jah 3972)5<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

The Prophet (peace and blessings upon him<\/em>) said, \u201cI bear testimony to the fact that there is no god but All\u0101h, and I am His Messenger. The person who would meet All\u0101h without entertaining any doubt about these [two fundamentals] would enter Paradise\u201d. \u2013 (\u1e62a\u1e25\u012b\u1e25 Muslim 27)6<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n
