I have a question. I am in a situation where I am holding some of my friend’s money and recently found out that he kicked out his wife and 3 kids from his house. His wife has contacted me about the situation and told me that he is not paying any child support. I am asking if it is okay for me to give her monthly expenses from the money that I am holding for him?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It will not be permissible for you to give her the money. It is stated Al-Hidayah \u201cIf a stranger holds his wealth and he pays their maintenance without the permission of the Qadi<\/em>, he is held liable.\u201d1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
