Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If a masjid is having two Ishas and two Taraweeh<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Generally, according to the Hanafi opinion, to perform a second congregation in the same place after the imam and the people have prayed the Salah in Jamat is considered Makruh Tahrimi unless it’s prayed elsewhere. (1)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is due to the dislike of the Athaan and Iqaamah being repeated.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, in today’s time, the need for multiple congregations for Jummah and Eid Salah has increased and in such cases, we consider the Shariah’s principle:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Necessity brings ease” (2)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mufti Muhammad Hasan Gangohi (Ra) has permitted the performing of two congregations without the prohibition applying. (3)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thus, in response to your query, where necessities require multiple Jamat like Jummah, Eid and Taraweeh, it will be permissible to perform two congregations.<\/span><\/p>\n
