Some people bought a house and turned it into a masjid with the intention of the ground floor for jam\u0101t kh\u0101nah<\/em> (prayer hall). Now they have built a new floor on top but with intention of a madrasah for men and women. Is that floor considered masjid? Should a<\/em>\u1e25<\/em>k\u0101m<\/em> (rulings) of jam\u0101t kh\u0101nah <\/em>(prayer hall) be applied to that floor?<\/span><\/p>\n

Once a structure is designated as a masjid and made waqf, then everything above and below it is considered part of the masjid.
