A man loves dogs and he knows it’s haram for the dog to come into the house now is it permissible for him to buy a dog leave it in a cage outside and everyday spend time and walk the dog?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is not advisable to keep a dog unless there is a need for it for security purposes or for disability needs such as for a blind person. (1)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thus, it would be advised not to keep a dog if it’s for purposes other than security and necessity.<\/span><\/p>\n
