In the name of <\/strong><\/u>All<\/strong><\/u><\/em>\u0101<\/strong><\/u><\/em>h<\/strong><\/u><\/em>, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Messenger of All<\/em>\u0101<\/em>h<\/em> \ufdfa wiped over his leather socks and he ordered us to wipe over the leather socks. [Sunan Ibn Majah: Hadith 547<\/em>] [1]<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The likes of the above Hadith<\/em> and others similar to it teach us the permissibility of doing Masah<\/em> over our Khuffayn<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The elaboration provided in regards to the purpose behind wearing the Khuffayn<\/em> is to protect from impurities entering it. Thus, if a person performs complete Wudhu<\/em> including washing the feet and then adorns cotton socks or it like and then adorns the Khuffayn<\/em> on top of them, this would be considered permissible. The same conditions of wearing Khuffayn <\/em>would still apply. [Bad<\/em>\u0101i\u2019 as-San\u0101i\u2019: vol. 1, pg. 139<\/em>] [2]<\/span><\/p>\n
