In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A CPAP (Continuous positive airway pressure) machine is used by those suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (a condition where sometimes the airways have the risk of collapsing whilst sleeping, obstructing the person\u2019s breathing). It assists the airways to stay open whilst the person sleeps by providing pressurized air.1 <\/sup>A humidifier is a device that releases water vapour or steam to increase moisture levels in the air (humidity).2<\/sup><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because this water vapour is going through and past the throat, it will break the fast as the water is being consumed in this sense; the fast will no longer be valid.3<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n
