Does the wife need the husband\u2019s permission to go out each time or leave home each time?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Women should not leave the home and go out (Badai Al Sanai, Vol 3, Pg 594). For a woman to leave the marital home without her husband\u2019s permission is considered disobedience towards her husband (Raddul Mukhtar, Vol 5, Pg 286).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are certain situations when a woman does not need her husband\u2019s permission to leave the house. These include going to gain Islamic knowledge (when the husband is not learned), visiting parents and Mahram relatives (Fatawa Qazi Khan, Vol 1, Pg 383), and helping her father if he needs support (Aap ke Masaail, Vol 6, Pg 336)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If a woman frequently goes to a place, and her husband is aware and allows it, then it would be permissible for her to go without asking his permission on each occasion (Umdatul Qari, Vol 20, Pg 309).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It would be best for the couple to discuss and determine what they are both happy with to avoid any potential issues. If the husband has expressed his permission regarding his wife going out for certain activities, it would be fine for her to do so without asking his permission each time.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To summarize, a woman does not need to explicitly ask her husband\u2019s permission each time she goes out. If he is aware of it and does not prevent her, or she goes out to fulfil her needs, or to a place where she is permitted to go without his permission, then she does not need to ask for permission each time.<\/span><\/p>\n
