A student of mine wants to do some summer work driving an ice cream truck. He is Alhamdulillah very particular about halal and haram. So he has requested me what he should do about the ice cream truck music. What alternatives hazraat offer for this? I have mentioned using some catchy vocals that are not mimicking Accapella etc, but I know it\u2019s a difficult situation. Any help will be great.<\/span><\/p>\n

MashaAllah, it is commendable that he wishes to avoid the sin of music. Your advice to him is also good.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My humble view is that he does not necessarily have to drive around and play music to get customers. He could park in a popular spot (like a park, a fair, a school, a high street, a shopping centre, a car park, a marketplace, etc) and sell ice cream without ever having to play any music at all.<\/span><\/p>\n
