If they are on a medication called Elvanse (lisdexamfetamine) it is taken only once a day and my initial thoughts would be can they alter their sleeping patterns for Ramadhan slightly to accommodate fasting? But speaking to their clinician would be best<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, if a person is taking once-daily medication it would be ideal for them to take it after Iftaar\/ Before Fajr so they can continue fasting in the Blessed Month without affecting their health. If the medication is such that it interferes with sleep then if a person can alter their sleeping patterns in order to accommodate the fast that would be best and more rewarding for them. \u201c<\/em>But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.\u201d [2: 184] <\/em>As always with matters related to health, one must consult with a Muslim doctor before making a decision.<\/span><\/p>\n
