Is it haram?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In Islam woman is allowed to wear jewellery but one should make sure of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">It should not represent or imitate the disbelievers. It is narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar that the Prophet: \u201cHe who copies any people is one of them\u201d.<a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Avoid wearing it in front of ghair mehrams. Allah says in Quran:-<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which is apparent and to draw their veils over their bosoms and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands&#8217; fathers, their sons, their husbands&#8217; sons, their brothers, their brothers&#8217; sons, their sisters&#8217; sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Sura Nur, 24: 31<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Don\u2019t try to wear it to show off and show arrogance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Ibn &#8216;Umar \u00a0reported that the Prophet \u00a0said, &#8220;If anyone behaves insolently or walks with arrogance, he will meet Allah Almighty covered with His anger.&#8221;<a href=\"#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\">[ii]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">It should not be harmful to your body.
