If I use Haram money to start my business, will the profit earned by the business be halal?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A person is not allowed to use haram money for anything, however, if one did use it to start a business, wherein the business itself is halal, then this would be fine and the earnings and proceeds from that business will be considered halal.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, one should understand the severity of this and should strive to donate the haram amount away to charity1<\/sup>, without expecting any reward therein, this should be accompanied by tawbah sincerely and a strong resolve not to commit the same sin in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n
