Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yes, the scentless roll-on deodorant with alcohol can be applied during the sacred state of i<\/em>\u1e25<\/em>r\u0101m<\/em> in \u2018Umrah and \u1e24ajj. It should be noted that there are a number of alcohol and scent-free options available in the market. Using them would be more cautious and upright.<\/span><\/p>\n

The alcohol in modern perfumes and deodorants is synthetic. There is no impurity in such perfumes and deodorants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The great contemporary jurist, Shaykh Muft\u012b Kh\u0101lid Saifull\u0101h Al-Ra\u1e25m\u0101n\u012b writes that other than the nectar of grapes and dates, any other plant or chemical-based alcohols, in minute amounts are allowable and if anything is considered little impurity (naj\u0101sah khaf\u012bfah<\/em>). Prayer is valid if perfume and deodorant containing such alcohols are applied in small quantities [that do not reach more than one-fourth of a limb]. \u2013 (See: Rad Al-Mu\u1e25t\u0101r, Vol 3, Page 536, D\u0101r Al-Fikr1<\/sup>, Jad\u012bd Fiqh\u012b Mas\u0101il Li Al-Ra\u1e25m\u0101n\u012b, Vol 1, Page 219, Zam Zam Publishers)<\/span><\/p>\n
