Yes, it mentions in Rad Al-Muhtar vol 2 page 104:<\/span><\/p>\n

With regards to surah \u0635 being recited in the prayer, the Hanafis have sujood shafiees don’t.<\/span><\/p>\n

The prostration of verse 24 of Surah Sad (Surah no. 38 of the Qur’an), according to the Shaf’i school of thought, is not a prostration of Qur’an-recital (sajdah tilawa), but rather a prostration of thankfulness (sajdah al-shukr). A prostration of thankfulness during a prayer invalidates the prayer, thus if one recites this verse while praying, he or she is not permitted to prostrate.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, according to the Hanafi School, prostrating this verse is equivalent to prostrating a Qur’an recital, and it is obligatory (wajib) to prostrate throughout the prayer if it is recited during the prayer.<\/span><\/p>\n
