If a grandfather touches his granddaughter with lust, does that affect the nikah of the girl’s parents?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful <\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If the granddaughter was close to buloogh or baaligh already, then the rulings pertaining to Hurmatul Musaaharah will become applicable according to the Hanafi Madhab.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If the granddaughter in question was the perpetrator\u2019s daughter’s daughter, then his wife, i.e., the girl\u2019s maternal grandmother would become unlawful for the grandfather.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If the girl was the grandfather\u2019s son\u2019s daughter, the girl would not be able to marry any of the grandfather’s son’s sons ie. her cousins from the paternal side.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
