I know getting warranty insurance on personal gadgets is not permissible. What if you have purchased expensive work laptops? For example, a MacBook. And phones for mini businesses The total equals a lot of money.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Are we allowed to insure the work business devices only (not personal ones of course)? The ones that will be used for the business only.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As you know these days we live in a difficult time in the UK. Things get stolen etc, as a work laptop Mac is usually 3k plus and vice versa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just in a sticky situation. As I\u2019m all solo based with all my products<\/span><\/p>\n

It is permissible to buy an item with a guarantee or with a warranty.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When it comes to an extended warranty, if an extended warranty is offered at the time of purchasing an item, the extended warranty will be permissible. The fee for the extended warranty will be regarded as part of the purchase price of the item.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, it is not permissible to purchase a separate and independent warranty as that falls in the category of insurance which is not permissible.<\/span><\/p>\n
