When this wrongdoing is connected to another person then in order to gain forgiveness from Allah, he must first gain the forgiveness of the person he has wronged.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If you have wronged someone publicly, then it is only fair to apologise publicly as well. Publicly acknowledging your mistake shows that you take responsibility for your actions and value the feelings of the person you have wronged. It is an important step in rebuilding trust and maintaining integrity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Insha\u2019Allah, your sincerity will be recognised by the person you want forgiveness from and they will understand the genuine remorse you feel for your actions. Make dua to Allah that He softens their heart and grants you the opportunity to seek forgiveness and reconcile with them.
