Question: the goats selected for Qurbani are dehorned. They went through a process called \u201cde-budding\u201d or \u201cdisbudding\u201d or \u201cdehorning\u201d that eliminated their horns from their infancy. I hope this is not an issue for Qurbani.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the horns had been broken off at the roots, then this would have been considered a defect and they would not have been permitted to use. However, this does not appear to be the case in the disbudding process where the horns are instead cauterised.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Accordingly, the disbudding process would not invalidate the use of such goats for Qurb\u0101ni\/ Udhiyah.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
