Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’s 24*7 sin not have beard and to wear trousers below ankle and vice-versa if one performs both deeds he would get reward (sawab) 24*7.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if one wears trousers above ankle and doesn’t have beard then, \u00a0Will\u00a0 the reward of wearing trousers above ankle cancel the number of sins we would get by not having beard?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Because of the saheeh ahaadeeth that plainly declare this, shaving the beard and keeping garments below the ankles is Haram.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beard is a Sunnah that you carry with you at all times (same as wearing clothes \u2013 stays with you whilst wearing it at all times), just like having no beard, you carry it with you at all times. With regards to what sin or how much sin throughout the day etc., unless stated in the Qur\u2019an and Hadeeth, only Allah SWT knows this. We would do sukoot (keep silent) regarding the sum of sin one accumulates throughout the day etc. The main thing is to acknowledge that it is a sin.<\/span><\/p>\n

The only way one\u2019s sin can be forgiven is mentioned in the Qur\u2019an and Hadeeth:<\/span><\/p>\n

Except for those who repent, believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do good actions; Allah will turn their sins into good deeds for them, because Allah is Most Merciful and Forgiving. And whoever repents and does good actions, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. [Furqaan verse 70-71]<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So actually stopping that sin and asking for repentance and carrying on with righteous acts shall stimulate the sin to be forgiven. If one does two sins; and stops the first sin, it doesn\u2019t mean that the second sin is then forgiven by default.<\/span><\/p>\n
