It is mentioned in Rad Al Muhtar:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">(\u0648\u0644\u0627 \u064a\u062a\u062d\u0644\u0649) \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062c\u0644 (\u0628\u0630\u0647\u0628 \u0648\u0641\u0636\u0629) \u0645\u0637\u0644\u0642\u0627 (\u0625\u0644\u0627 \u0628\u062e\u0627\u062a\u0645 \u0648\u0645\u0646\u0637\u0642\u0629 \u0648\u062d\u0644\u064a\u0629 \u0633\u064a\u0641 \u0645\u0646\u0647\u0627)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">(A man can\u2019t beautify) himself (with gold\/silver jewellery) and this includes everything (except a ring\/valuables and decoration on the sword) [Rad Al Muhtar Vol 6 page 358]<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Wearing jewellery is what women have been doing for years upon years regardless if one wants to make it a manly thing or a \u201cnot just womanly thing\u201d now or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A legal maxim of Islam Law:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0627\u062f\u0629 \u0645\u062d\u0643\u0645\u0629<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Custom is taken into account (when deriving a ruling)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">With regards to the claim of Urf (custom), it has to be completely normal in society. If there are people who wear the item about which there is a fear of imitation in a specific country or at a certain period, it does not mean that it is not the type of imitation that is haram. Abdullah Bin Mas\u2019ud mentions \u201cWhatever is deemed good by Muslims is good to Allah\u201d.
