Would this be classed as a bida\u2019h?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">This manner of collectively gathering after fajr every single morning and reciting Surah Yaseen Shareef as well as a collective dua following it is not by the practices of the Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him), the Sahabah or the Tabieen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Shariah has not given such guidelines, and the scholars have regarded such practices as Bidah and Makrooh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Messenger of Allah (May peace and blessings be upon him said. Whoever performs an act which is not following our [our <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">religion], will be rejected. (Bukhari:2697)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Therefore, such practices should be avoided. If one would like to reap the benefits and virtues of Surah Yaseen, then one may recite it individually when he can do so. There is no basis in Shariah to gather and recite it collectively.
