How should Masjids accommodate people who want to come into the Masjid with wheelchairs from outside?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The issue is the carpet getting dirty.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Due to wheelchairs being used outside, if they get brought inside then it will make the place of prayer impure, and keeping the place of prayer pure from any impurities is a condition before the Salah.<\/span><\/p>\n

A few things you could do to help with this situation are:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First: Have wheelchairs within the masjid that are pure so that any wheelchair user can use the masjid wheelchairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Second: Someone can assist the wheelchair user and wipe the wheels of the wheelchair before entering the room for Salah, doing this can wipe off any impurity and allow the person to use their own wheelchair for Salah.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Third: If a person is able to, he can leave his wheelchair and get some assistance to sit on a chair which is part of the masjid just for the Salah time.<\/span><\/p>\n
