Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lately, I continue to repeat my prayer because maybe I think that I forgot an obligatory act of the prayer or my intention was not correct.<\/span><\/p>\n

Should I repeat the prayer or be completely sure that I have done something wrong before repeating the salah?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do not repeat the prayer just because of doubt and obsessiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rather, you must make it up if you are certain that you did not pray it. We advise you to consult trustworthy doctors to treat this disease. We also advise you to consult the consultation section of our website, as you will find something useful for you – God willing.1<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

It is also mentioned in the hadith in Bukhari 1232 that Allah’s Messenger (\ufdfa) said, “When anyone of you stands for the prayers, Satan comes and puts him in doubts till he forgets how many rak`at he has prayed. So if this happens to anyone of you, he should perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting.2<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, continue your salah as you are with the completion of sajda Sahwa.<\/span><\/p>\n
