Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A person came to me and told me that our toilet seat is facing the first Qibla, he probably mean Masjid e Aqsa. I am not sure what is meant by this. If we can’t face the direction or turn our backs towards the second Qibla as well, then which direction should we face?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To face one’s face or back towards the Qiblah while relieving oneself is prohibitively disliked. (1)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As for facing Masjid Al-Aqsa, there are two opinions the scholars have mentioned.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first opinion is that it is permissible without any dislike. (2)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The second opinion is that it is not preferred (disliked, Makrooh Tanzihi). (2)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Only Allah (\u0639\u0632 \u0648 \u062c\u0644) knows best.<\/span><\/p>\n
