If someone recites the azkaar after salaah, then remembers he has to do sajdah sahw, can he still preform sajdah sahw and complete his salah?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of All\u0101h<\/em>, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The procedure for performing Sajdah Sahw<\/em> is in the final sitting, after the recitation of the Tashahud<\/em>, one is to make Sal\u0101m <\/em>to the right only. Then, one should say Takbeeer<\/em> (i.e., All\u0101hu Akbar<\/em>) thereafter, perform two Sajdah\u2019s<\/em> and then proceed to complete the Salah<\/em> as normal (i.e., with Tashahud, Durood<\/em> and the Dua<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n

If, however, a person forgets to do Sajdah Sahw <\/em>then they may do it after they have concluded the Salah.<\/em> This is on the condition that they have not yet done any action or said anything which would nullify the Salah<\/em>. For instance, talking, working, walking and etc. One would simply say Takbeer<\/em> and go into Sajdah<\/em> and perform the Sajdah Sahw<\/em>. Then they would go about concluding the Salah <\/em>again as normal. [Radd ul-Muht\u0101r: vol. 2, pg. 91<\/em>] [1]<\/span><\/p>\n
