If we lent some money to someone and he returned the money from the gambling money. Would it be ok for us take the money or not.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All\u0101h Ta\u2019\u0101l\u0101 says in regards to gambling,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThey ask you about wine and gambling. Say, \u201cIn both there is great sin, and some benefits for people. And their sin is greater than their benefit.\u201d And they ask you as to what they should spend. Say, \u201cThe surplus\u201d. This is how Allah makes His verses clear to you, so that you may ponder.\u201d [Surah Al-Baqarah; 2:219] [1]<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cO you who believe! Wine, gambling, altars and divining arrows are filth, made up by Satan. Therefore, refrain from it, so that you may be successful. Satan wishes only to plant enmity and malice between you through wine and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of Allah and from Sal\u0101h. Would you, then, abstain?\u201d [Surah Al-M\u0101i\u2019dah; 5:90-91] [2]<\/span><\/p>\n

Gambling is strictly Haraam in Isl\u0101m. The gains of gambling are also Haraam as well. Therefore, to repay someone back with gambling money will also be Haraam.<\/span><\/p>\n
