It was very intimate with family and a few relatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Alhamdulillah the marriage was going well and around 3 weeks ago we\u2019ve started to have a lot of problems which we are sorting. I do not want to throw this marriage away and both husband and I want to work it out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">I wanted to know in Islam is it allowed to have your nikah read again? The reason I wanted to do this is because it would be special and remind us both our vows etc<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The conditions for nikah are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">There needs to be an offer and an acceptance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The speech has to be in the past tense or one in the past tense and the other in the future tense<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Two witnesses (two sane, mature Muslim men or a man and two women) must be present. (1)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Thus, the above is the criteria to be married and be tied in a contract according to the Hanafi madhab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A Nikah ceremony will solemnize a marriage and two people will become halal for one another. As long as the initial Nikah is done, the marriage is established and a renewed Nikah won&#8217;t impact or affect the previous Nikah ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Thus, a renewed Nikah won&#8217;t impact one&#8217;s marriage and so there will be no harm in renewing Nikah.
