I have heard that the sahaba ikram who dug up the grave of Hazrat Faatimah R.A spoke to the earth whilst they were digging up saying to the earth oh Earth this blessed lady is the grand daughter of Abu Bakr R.A, this blessed lady is the wife of Ali r.a. this lady is the daughter of the rasool of Allah s.a.w.. and the earth replied to their ears saying \u2018 i do not know the granddaughter of such and such, i do not know the wife or daughter of such n such i do not know anybody i only see them for what they bring to me in terms of deeds\u2019 is this true and is it possible to get the actual wordings to this hadeeth please\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The narration that you are referring to is not found in any of the well-known or reliable hadith books, namely the six authentic collections of hadiths: Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nasa’i, and Sunan Ibn Majah. Or even in other collections such as Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal or Muwatta Imam Malik.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, it is found in other non-canonical or less reliable sources, which are not accepted by scholars of hadith. These sources often contain narrations that are considered weak or fabricated. The narration in these books is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was said that when Fatima Al-Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet \ufdfa, passed away, four people carried her funeral: her husband Ali, her two sons, Hasan and Husain, and Abu Dhar Al-Ghafari, may Allah be pleased with them all. When they placed her on the edge of the grave, Abu Dhar stood up and said: Oh grave, do you know who we have brought to you? She is Fatima Al-Zahra, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa, the wife of Ali Al-Murtada, and the mother of Hasan and Husain. They then heard a call from the grave saying: I am not a place of lineage, but rather I am a place of good deeds. Only those whose goodness is abundant, whose heart is at peace, and whose deeds are sincere will be saved from me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

What is common in all of the books that this narration is found in is that there is no mention of a narrator of this supposed hadith, it simply says \u201cit has been narrated\u201d, this is a sign that the hadith is not authentic and may be fabricated as the origin cannot be traced.<\/span><\/p>\n
