When sitting in salah my lower half of my leg was not directly touching the mat but was touching a portion of my gown. Is the salah valid?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Having the feet touching the ground during sajdah (prostration) is wajib.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is makrooh to perform sajdah with some toes lifted while others are not. However, if at least one toe touches the ground for the duration of saying “Subh\u0101na Rabb\u012b al-a\u1fbfl\u0101” once, the sajdah is considered correct and the prayer valid.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If a person fails to place any toes on the ground, they must repeat the prayer as they have omitted a necessary component.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As long as the feet and toes are positioned correctly, the prayer remains valid.<\/span><\/p>\n
