Please can you confirm to me that giving talaq 3 times in one go is the talaq valid or void i had no idea as to what i said at the time<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Divorce (in terms of what words are used) is of two types:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Sareeh – where the words used are clear and only can be used for the purpose\/meaning of divorce, these statements do not require an intention of divorce alongside it1<\/sup><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Kinayah \u2013 where the words used are ambiguous and unclear but could be in the meaning of a divorce, these statements require an intention of divorce for a divorce to occur2<\/sup><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    You say you have no idea what you said at the time, yet (I assume) remember saying divorce three times, divorce even if it is in a state of anger occurs so long as the anger was not to a level where he would be considered a mad person, meaning a person no longer in control of his words and actions 3<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    If you reached such a level where you were not aware of your senses then no divorce occurred, you will need to ask yourself truly whether you were or not.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Three divorces in one go equal to three divorces, in such a case the woman is free to marry anyone else after her iddah.<\/span><\/p>\n
