Salaam say I needed to perform ghusl for janabah and only realised after a while that I had only performed the ghusl for menses, was this ghusl sufficient for both? I only intended the ghusl for menses as I didn\u2019t realise that I needed to make it for multiple reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are only 3 faraidh of ghusl which is to rinse the mouth, to put water in the nostril and to wash the whole body.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As per the above we understand intention is not a prerequisite for ghusl. A person in the state of janabah and being in the haidh, the ghusl will be valid. There is no need to specify. It is sunnah to make intention when doing ghusl.<\/span><\/p>\n
