I made ghusl and when I finished I looked in the mirror and saw some dry flakes on my eyelid, this was blepharitis. I scraped it off and washed my eye and performed salah. Was the salah valid?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

For ghusl to be valid, water must reach all parts of the body. If any part of the body that can be washed is left dry, the ghusl is invalid. [1]<\/span><\/p>\n

In your specific case, you noticed dry flakes on your eyelid due to blepharitis after completing the ghusl. You then scraped it off, washed your eye<\/span>, and performed salah.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The dry flakes on your eyelid indicate that the water did not reach that part during your initial ghusl. All parts of the body must be washed (unless there is a valid medical exemption), the initial ghusl would be incomplete.<\/span><\/p>\n

After noticing the dry flakes, you scraped them off and washed your eye. This action would be considered a correction of the incomplete ghusl. This is because continuity is not an obligatory condition for ghusl to be valid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since you corrected the incomplete part of your ghusl by washing your eye after noticing the dry flakes, you essentially completed your ghusl before performing salah.<\/span><\/p>\n
