I scraped it off and washed my eye and performed salah. Was the salah valid?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><u><strong>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><u><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">For ghusl to be valid, water must reach all parts of the body. If any part of the body that can be washed is left dry, the ghusl is invalid. [1]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In your specific case, you noticed dry flakes on your eyelid due to blepharitis after completing the ghusl. You then scraped it off, washed your eye<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and performed salah.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">The dry flakes on your eyelid indicate that the water did not reach that part during your initial ghusl. All parts of the body must be washed (unless there is a valid medical exemption), the initial ghusl would be incomplete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">After noticing the dry flakes, you scraped them off and washed your eye. This action would be considered a correction of the incomplete ghusl.
