I have heard elders say this isn\u2019t allowed, but please can you explain if this is allowed or not. Same with if a person sleeps on a sofa and the feet is pointing towards the Qibla direction. Is this allowed or not?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><u><strong>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><u><strong>Answer<\/strong><\/u><u>: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">There is no explicit prohibition in the primary sources of Islam against sleeping with one\u2019s feet pointing towards the Qibla. The elders\u2019 advice may stem from cultural respect for the direction of prayer.
