My sister has a lot of waswasa in making Wudu and then I said to My dad,this is shaytan with his whispers\u201c and then make a little bit jokes that shaytan is not in the toilet and he says you are one hour in the toilet to poop and there is shaytan<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He Laughs during this and I tried not to laugh\u00a0 and I made faces to suppress my laughter maybe I little bit laughed.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no reason I see why this could be considered shirk or kufr. It is true that jinns reside in the bathroom and therefore, spending long periods of time in the bathroom isn\u2019t considered praiseworthy. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Zaid b. Arqam reported God’s messenger as saying, “These privies are peopled by jinn and devils, so when one of you goes there he should say, \u2018I seek refuge in God from male and female devils.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You should encourage your sister to reduce the time she spends in the bathroom. Furthermore, if she is having waswas, she should remember that her wud\u016b\u2019 will not be invalidated due to doubt alone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
