Salam Sheikh, I put an impure cloth and towel (because of urine) in the washing machine. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For the first wash, I put detergent, bleach and softener.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For the second wash, I don’t put any soap substance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For the third wash, I put softener. In total, I used the washing machine 3 times.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, the cloth and towel still smell of urine and have some stains remaining, I have used the cloth for my daily prayers, is the cloth impure, have I spread impurities everywhere? <\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

You have washed the affected items three times, thereby fulfilling the maximum requirement to remove the effects of impurity (najas). <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Furthermore, water flows through the washing machine tub which is designed to rinse away impurities. The washing machine is filled with plenty of clean water with each cycle to wash away all visible impurities.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Washing in the machine just once is sufficient as the machine uses a mixture of rinsing and washing cycles which renews the water each time. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The effects of najasah are washed away with the renewed water refilling into the washing tub, thereby fulfilling the necessary steps. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As you have mentioned, due to the waswasa you experienced, you washed the clothes three times in total. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is not necessary, as you are creating unnecessary difficulty for yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next time you may wash just once in the washing machine and thereafter any stains or smell can be disregarded. <\/span><\/p>\n
