He thinks he has Done it right, because I read something about certainty is not removed by doubt can his Salah be valid?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><b>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><b>Answer<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Mistake in Reciting Al-Fatiha<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the Hanafi school of thought, the recitation of\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al-Fatiha<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0is an essential component of Salah (fard). If a person makes a mistake that unintentionally changes the meaning of the verse but is unaware of it at the time and believes they have recited it correctly, their Salah can still be considered valid under certain conditions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If the person does not recall the mistake during or after Salah and had a firm conviction that they were reciting correctly at the time, then the principle of\u00a0certainty not being removed by doubt\u00a0applies. This principle is based on the understanding that acts of worship are judged by intention and certainty unless a person becomes fully aware of the mistake.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Certainty is Not Removed by Doubt<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The principle &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u0627\u0644\u064a\u0642\u064a\u0646 \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0632\u0648\u0644 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0634\u0643<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; (certainty is not removed by doubt) (Qawaaid Fiqiyyah) applies here. If the person is certain that they performed the Salah correctly, then doubts about a potential mistake later do not invalidate the Salah. In the Hanafi school, minor mistakes in pronunciation that do not alter the fundamental meaning or were unintentional do not invalidate the prayer, especially if the person is unaware of them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Mistakes That Change the Meaning<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the person later realises that they made a mistake in reciting\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al-Fatiha<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and the mistake was significant enough to change the meaning of the verse (such as changing the meaning of a key word), it could invalidate the recitation, and in some cases, the Salah. However, this only applies if the mistake was clearly known and recognized.
