I have a question about the niqab:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What is the ruling if the husband does not want it, for various reasons? Among other things, concerns about protection when she is out alone, but also because other people, especially in Germany, have a strong aversion to it & therefore you cannot do \u201cproper dawah\u201d. Should you not wear the niqab because the husband wants it that way or should you wear it anyway because you hope to gain Allah\u2019s approval by doing so? Is it better not to wear it in general in Germany and these Western countries and only in countries where it is more common, so as not to attract so much attention?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We must understand that Shariah has been placed for the protection of a person even if we don\u2019t know the wisdom behind it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wearing the niqab does not invite unnecessary attention, rather one will get necessary attention and will be respected.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wearing the niqab in itself is a dawah, where people will see the beauty of Islam. Other sects wear what they want showing pride in their culture. Why should Muslims feel inferior by implementing the Shariah?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A point to consider is that niqab is not something optional, rather it is something which is necessary and if it is left out, one will be sinful.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore you should not listen to your husband and you should fulfil the command of Allah. You should wear the niqab wherever you are when exposed to ghair mahram.<\/span><\/p>\n
