\n<\/span>If a person says I guarantee that 100 percent this will happen about some event like a concert or I guarantee that someone will 100 percent do this, does this constitute kufr?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Making statements such as “I guarantee 100 percent this will happen” or “someone will 100 percent do this” does not constitute kufr if made based on assumptions. Statements like these can be problematic because they suggest knowledge of the future or the unseen, which only Allah has control over. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Indeed, Allah \u02f9alone\u02fa has the knowledge of the Hour. He sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn for tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware (Surah Luqman, 31:34).\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

If such a statement is made in a casual or exaggerated manner and the person is not seriously claiming control over the future, it would not be considered kufr. If the statement is made in a serious manner where the individual believes they have knowledge or control over future events, this is problematic. It can lead to shirk, because only Allah has control over the unseen and the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
