Can we just wash from the upper side that is visible or must we wash the labia minora and the urethra inside it? <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Another question is, can water go inside the urethra while cleansing the labia minora and become impure? The last question is does a woman have to clean labia majora and minora while doing ghusl?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><b>In the name of Allah, the <\/b><b>Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><b>Answer:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">After urinating, it is obligatory (wajib) to wash the area where the urine has flowed. This includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">The outer vaginal area (labia majora)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">If urine reaches the\u00a0labia minora\u00a0or flows further, it must also be washed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The area\u00a0inside the vaginal opening or urethra\u00a0does not need to be washed, as it is not considered part of the external body and is not subject to the ruling of cleansing<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Water that enters the urethra during cleaning does not become impure, nor does it need to be expelled or removed.
