Question:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am a female in my 20s. I would like to go for Hajj this year and \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0645\u062f\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u062d\u0645\u062f\u0627\u064b \u0643\u062b\u064a\u0631\u0627\u064b\u060c I have the means to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I could also pay for one mahram to come with me.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My dad doesn\u2019t want to come this year, as he has a project that he is in the middle of.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to annoy him, but also I need to do my Hajj. I\u2019ve not yet completed the obligation. Is it okay for me to try persuading him to accompany me, even if he finds me mentioning Hajj annoying?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer<\/u><\/strong>: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Quran has clearly stated and has pointed out the necessity of performing the hajj if you are able.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cCommitment to\u02fa pilgrimage is made in appointed months.1<\/sup>\u00a0Whoever commits to \u02f9performing\u02fa pilgrimage, let them stay away from intimate relations, foul language, and arguments during pilgrimage. Whatever good you do, Allah \u02f9fully\u02fa knows of it. Take \u02f9necessary\u02fa provisions \u02f9for the journey\u02fa\u2014surely the best provision is righteousness. And be mindful of Me, O \u00a0people of reason! (Surah Baqarah:197).[1]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Hajj has become compulsory on you since you have the means.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Though[2]<\/a> your father is not persuaded currently it would be wise that you try and convince him now to go with you to act as your mahram, as is recommended by the Hanafi Fiqh to undertake a journey with a mahram.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore, try and convince him to undertake this journey with you as part your fulfilment of deen or if you have another mahram you can undertake the journey with him to complete the Hajj.<\/span><\/p>\n
