Question:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What kind of illnesses would one have to disclose when seeking a wife? If the illness is not current, does it have to be disclosed i.e. if one used to have ocd\/waswasa issues in the past and one has healed a great amount. Would one have to inform a potential spouse of it in case it creeps up again?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If one has an issue with one of his eyes that he got treated for (although the treatment was to stop the issue getting worse and not improve the sight) does one have to mention that too?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If one regularly wakes up to discharge, does one have to mention that too?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If one had issues related to frequently using the bathroom and related issues but that is no longer the case now, does it have to be mention now?<\/span><\/p>\n

Honesty and transparency are essential in any marriage. While not every past or minor medical issue needs to be disclosed, any illness that could significantly impact a spouse or marital life should be discussed beforehand.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Any illness that affects daily life, marital responsibilities, or future health should be disclosed. This includes chronic illnesses, mental health conditions that may impact the relationship, or hereditary diseases.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If an illness is in the past but has the potential to return, such as OCD\/waswasa, it is advisable to mention it. While complete healing may have occurred, it is fair to inform a potential spouse in case of a possible recurrence.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If the eye condition does not affect daily activities or marital responsibilities, it may not be necessary to disclose it. However, if it significantly impacts vision or quality of life, it is best to mention it.<\/span><\/p>\n
