Hanafi Imam did Shafi Sajdah Surah Hajj by accident, what is the ruling?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to the hanafi mazhab, there are 14 ayaat of sajdah only. The sajdah should be done when the ayah is recited and it is disliked to delay in making the sajdah.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When it comes to Surah hajj, the sajdah is necessary only for the first ayah of sajdah and not the second one. As it is not considered to be an ayah of sajdah by the hanafi because in it Allah mention about ruku also. This was for the purpose of teaching the command.<\/span><\/p>\n

However if the sajdah was made in the second place where the shafi\u2019ee do sajdah, then one will have to make sajdah sahw to rectify the error. <\/span><\/p>\n
