The document issued by court was an agreement of finishing marriage contract a professional lawyer was involved he made documents which was signed by the person I was married to by his father me and my brother. Its been more than 11 years, is my divorce or Khul&#8217;a according to Shariah or is it required for him to say or write those words talaq then it will be according to verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Khul\u2019a is a wife-initiated divorce whereby she seeks to free herself from the marriage by returning the mahr or providing an asset of similar amount that can be accepted as mahr.[1]<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">With that said, you mention that the document was an <strong>agreement\u2014<\/strong>made by a professional lawyer\u2014to finish the marriage and said document was signed by yourself, your ex-husband, your brother and your father.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Hence, your Khul\u2019a is according to the Shari\u2019ah as not only did your ex-husband agree to
