I want to ask some question regarding wet dreams according to Hanafi Fiqh..<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. I have learnt that as for wet dreams for women ghusl will be obligatory to women if discharge comes out to outer genitalia (area which is apparent when vaginal lips are normally closed) if its inside the vaginal lips then ghusl is not obligatory. Is that correct?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    *Outer genitalia is the visible part of vagina means labia majora and VISIBLE part of labia minora because labia minora extended to inner part!! External area is counted from where the labia minora is naturally closed??<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    To what extent should i check after awakeing?? By just simple looking the visible part with an instant glance or by checking with hands inside or tissue to check whether there is something or not?<\/span><\/p>\n

      3. Which part of female vagina should be washed in ghusl??<\/span><\/p>\n

      4. After urinating is the external part of vagina that is labia majora and visible part of labia minora should be washed or can we put water in the internal area( which is inside labia minora)?<\/span><\/p>\n

      I have heard that only external area have to be washed but sometime urine for having its flow go inside (internal vagina) as well so do we have to clean it? If not then what about the uncleaned area inside doesn’t it make our clothes napak if not cleaned from inside because of urine that is not washed coming out? Doesn’t it make our istinja incomplete?<\/span><\/p>\n

      • It is correct that Ghusl will be obligatory after a wet dream if discharge (Madhi) is excreted to the outer part of the vagina (after seeing a dream of sexual nature). You do not have to check the inner part of the vagina. Simply check if the discharge has been excreted to the outer part of the Vagina.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • The Al-Farj Al Kharij is the part of the vagina which is visible when a woman sits. It is known as the Vulva, which contains the the Outer Labia (outer lips of the vagina) and Labia minora (inner lips). The Al-Farj ad-Dakhil refers to the inner part of the vagina which is not visible and contains opening of the vaginal canal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

           <\/p>\n

          • Only the outer part of the vagina should be washed during Ghusl.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Before making Istinja, you should make sure that all urine drops have stopped coming out. If you believe that some urine has collected in the internal part of the vagina, you should simply use a piece of cotton or tissue and press against the outer part of your vagina so that any remaining fluid\/urine from the inner part comes out. Once the urine drops have ceased, you will only wash the outer part of the vagina. Any remaining moisture in the inner part of the vagina will be regarded as pure in the same way sweat and saliva is deemed as pure. Thus if that moisture gets on your clothes, your clothes will still be deemed as pure. Furthermore, the inner part of your vagina is not subject to the rulings concerning the purity of one’s body.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
