Would I need to get in contact with the companies or would they be fine and permissible to consume?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Vinegar is made through a two-stage fermentation process, s<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">ugar (from dates, grapes, corn, wheat, etc.) is converted into ethanol (alcohol). Ethanol is then\u00a0oxidized into acetic acid, the sour component that makes vinegar, removes the intoxicating property\u00a0from the substance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">The transformation of alcohol into acetic acid is so complete that the original haram substance (alcohol) no longer remains in its intoxicating or forbidden form. W<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">ine is impure and prohibited.
